It was the speech of priests over the wisdom and words haq, in an effort to maintain the purity of religious people. However, some important things worth noting here are: the speech of these priests will be wisdom when placed on the proportion and place, because of the meaning of wisdom is: wadh'u ash-fil Syai `mahallihi (put something in place). It's true what is stated by Shaykh Salih ibn Muhammad al-Luhaidân hafizhahullâhu, that such actions are not the actions of thôlibul 'ilmi, but not much action from the youth to be ignorant but muta'âlim (self-knowledge)! And this attitude indeed on much of the nature and the nature of the Salaf.
